Q:hi, do you think getting a corgi is a good idea if there are young children in the house? thanks!
Honestly it’s hard for me to say. We don’t have any children yet and Eleanor hasn’t really experienced children much. She’s been around an 8 month old once and did amazingly really well. No barking gingerly sniffed him and was really gentle with him as he attempted to pet her.
I think if they are raised around kids it should be easier you just have to watch when they start teething cause they tend to chew on fingers or anything if you let them. But that habit is easy to break them of with patience.
But I’d say it would be fine to have a puppy corgi around kids just make sure the kids understand they are puppies and fragile and may nip if you play to hard.
